Clarinet

I play the clarinet . It is a wind instrument . There is the mouth piece ,the barrel ,the upper joint ,the lower joint , the keywork and tone holes, and the bell . The clarinet is played in the trouble clef. In 1960 Johann Christoph Denner from Nuremburg invented the clarinet . This is a low pitched instrument . This is the way to play a clarinet. Put the flat part of the reed on the flat side of the clarinets mouthpiece .Make sure that the top of the reed is aligned with the top of the clarinets mouthpiece .  Make sure the reed is properly connected to the mouthpiece (using the ligature)  . Then push the barrel joint till it is fully connected to the mouthpiece the do the same to the upper joint with the barrel joint and the same with the lower joint to the upper joint then the bell to the lower joint and then its put together . To make a sound keep your cheeks in and put your mouth around the mouth piece and blow.To sterilize the mouthpiece use hot water and non toxic soap . Put your clarinet away after every use and use cork grease to make it easier to attach the pieces together.
